The St. Bernard Parish Library offers individuals and families religious, educational, inspirational and support materials in print and audio / visual formats. It provides resources that will help in parishioners’ pursuit of quality, lifelong Catholic education. Additionally, the library will be available to support the parish staff, committees and groups with resource materials. The library is located in the back of church in the former baptistery room near the south entry doors. Materials are available for checkout. We ask that books be re-turned within three weeks, and DVDs and tapes be re-turned within one week.
The Library Committee is seeking volunteers. If you would like to be part of a team that will meet monthly to process new or donated items, or if you would like to volunteer for 5 – 20 minutes once or twice a month after a weekend Mass to return materials back to the shelves, please call the parish office at 551-0269. If you have religious books, DVDs or tapes that you’d like to donate, please place them in the baskets located in the library.
