Dinner Auction

Beginning in 1999, the Development Committee of St. Bernard began hosting the annual Dinner/Auction by bringing the event back to St. Bernard from Roncalli and creating themes.  Since then, the event has grown from an average attendance of 150 to 300 and from average income of $15,000 to $40,000!

One of the highly-sought after auction items was a progressive dinner for 10.
Here, guests and hosts propose a toast.

The evening begins with social hour, a catered dinner and silent auction, cash raffle prize drawing and concludes with a live auction.

Volunteers decorate, set-up, bartend and clean-up.  They obtain items and work a silent and live auction.  We use students as bid runners.  More volunteers are used to help with advertising, working with the caterer, creating a web site of all the items and printing booklets.  Tickets are $50 each for seating at tables of ten.  We ask that those wanting to sit together pay for an entire table at one time.
